Gateron Silent Black RGB LED issues

RunningOffCaffeine

So, I recently bought a pack of Gateron Silent Black switches for my first custom keyboard. (https://novelkeys.xyz/collections/switches/products/gateron-silent-switches?variant=37605981192359)

I noticed that on the bottom, they have the four holes for an LED, and yet I am unable to actually fit the LEDs through the top of the switch. [These LEDs for reference (https://envistiamall.com/products/3mm-4pin-diffused-rgb-tri-color-red-green-blue-leds-common-anode-nipple-pkg-5pcs)]

I was wondering if these two are even compatible at all, or if I am just a massive idiot.

Those 4 holes are to accommodate 2 different type of THT components.
The outer most 2 are for diodes, whereas the inner 2 holes are for you standard 2 legs through hole LED like this one:Blue 1000pcs/LOT 2X3X4 square LED blue light emitting diode (square)| | - AliExpress

So, does this mean that I'm unable to use the 4 pin LEDs and I need 2 pins?
