So I have a Lenovo tower y520 and I changed the bios settings to prioritize igp graphics(integrated) but I accidentally put a thing smth like integrated memory from 32 mb to 64,after I saved I didn't get any signal from either the GPU or igpu I changed the cmos battery just now and it didn't do jack,also used the jumpers (cmos1 and mecmos) but still didn't do jack,can anyone help? Please I'm desperate

so you want to remove the plug on the psu and remove the battery. then press andhold the power button for 30secs-1 minute. then put the battery back on.

 

so you did not get any signal from the motherboard or form the gpu?

the setting you changed should not do any of that and if bios reset did not help, it is not likely bios issue.

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

Ight I will try it now,I just removed the battery and didn't hold the power button,also the computer did power on,all the fans and everything worked just no display output

also remove the power plug on the psu before holding the button
