Which SSD?

I want 2 TB of ssd in my system. Do you guys recomend the western digital blue 2 TB m.2-2280 or the samsung 970 evo plus? The WD one is $100 dollars cheaper, is this for a signifigant performace reason?

It's because it was sata instead of Samsung nvme...

M.2 is like usb c, it's form factor standard not protocol standard

 

Is this going to be another storage or as primary/boot storage?

Most of the wd blue m.2 drives are nvme, like the sn550.

Yeah, i guess i know that sn550 is still a wd blue, but there's also less known m.2 version of the 2.5 inch sata wd blue and since the price difference is so high i assume it was the sata one...

Technically speaking there is time difference, Will you notice?, Probably not in "most" normal use case

This is meaningless. WD makes multiple "blue" drives, and M.2 can be SATA or NVMe. Heck, M.2 doesn't even have to be storage. 2280 is just a PCB length.

That's up to you, if you asked me then yes i would save it in general means, though you could also save it, in a way that you could get better hardware for the rest of your build
