So, I have been looking for my first proper gaming pc (mainly for gaming but also general use to replace my toaster laptop). The idea of making my own pc is on the table, I even made a thread about it earlier today. After all that, I realized the GPU availbility crisis we have currently would make the card I would like to get way too expensive. Other options on the used maket are avaliable, but no warranty, possible problems due to the age of the cards (i have been looking at 980 ti or 1070 ti) and shipping problems are something I am not willing to risk for the amount of money that I could lose if something goes wrong.

This said, I decided to look for a pre-built that could be of use on the meantime and possibly have a good upgrade path later down the line. Enter Skytech. I saw a newegg listing on a very nice looking pre-built for the price (being inside my $750-820 budget). I want to go ryzen, so it is a plus. I also saw this one for $620 .

My question here is simple: any thoughts on Skytech? are they good? bad? reliable? Are this prebuilts atleast worth the money or should I wait for 2022 for this crisis to end?

What do you guys and gals think?

Enter Skytech.

ABS is a good lineup too. Imho their massive achilles heel is just like other system integrators, bargain bin PSU and motherboard. So make sure you have a solid replacement for those 2 imho, because they really crank up the reliability.

Between the 2 PCs, the 770$ one is pretty much what i would build at that price range too. But as i say before, with different PSU and board.
