So i just found out this came to my country and it looks like a great value for money tablet. It is $270US and the new Nexus 7 is $360US in my country (the 32gb but you can add an sd card in the Tegra Note). Who here owns one and how does it perform (it is the EVGA version) because it looks like a pretty good deal but it might have something bad.

sadly the tegra note 7 has 720p versus 1920x1920 the Nexus 7 has.

But then you have in consideration that it is cheaper, they are both IPS and the note comes with a stylus. And the old Nexus 7 had a 720p display and it was quite good..

it is... But performance isn't a big deal, also since it's tegra the custom rom support is going to be smaller considering that the chipset is completely different from the normal snap dragon deal. (that is if you are into that).

I guess they are both good but since it's a tablet, it's always really nice to

1. get 100% support from google and get continuous, fast updates

2. better resolution.

that is where the extra $90 is worth it imo.

I like how developers are working their asses off to make the OS more finger-control-friendly and then hardware companies throw in the stylus :D

Any unknown button should be pressed even number of times.

Yes i agree with you, i think the $90US is totally woth it, not only you get a better display, faster updates but also nfc, better front camera, better design, twice the ram, twice the storage and more support.

 

But for the price i don't think there are better tablets than the tegra note 7.
