Computer connected in virtual network?

tasho

On the "connected home" page on ESET Internet security, for the information on my laptop's network, it states that it's connected in a virtual network. I don't have any virtual machines, and I don't have any virtual network software installed, no VPNs either. Is this normal?

Are you using wsl? This seems like the wsl network card so the wsl vm can use the network. This seems normal

Well i have no knowledge of which of my programs could be using wsl. But i managed to uninstall the hyper-v network adapter from the device manager and now this virtual network is gone. If i find out what program needs it i will try to bring it back
