Bitlocker asks for key each time after startup

Have you tried to login after entering the code and disabling Bitlocker and then trying to re-enable it?

Once booted and recovery key entered go in my computer, right click that drive, select manage bitlocker, and you should have something like "automatically unlock this drive on this computer".
