As you can see I have GeForce 9800GT. It is a Silent Cell GPU, while it is working fine at the moment. When I built it I opted for the Black Sniper Case for it's cooling, because of the number of fans in it, I didn't want to add extra noise with a fan based GPU. I CANNOT TOLERATE NOISY GPU's!

I am not a high end gamer, I do play Watcraft 3 The Frozen Throne (NOT WoW), other than that I tend to stream online TV, web browse, email etc.

My mobo will take a PCI-E 2.0 so I am looking at ASUS GeForce GT 630 Silent 2GB, I prefer the Silent Cell and Nvidia over Radeon.

Has anyone used this? Any feedback would be appreciated.

I am not looking to do a full rebuild, at the moment that would just be wasting money, that and no sooner than do you think you have the latest and greatest machine, it is old news the following day.

For the love of all things worth the money, get a 750Ti. The GT 630 is weaker than your current card, probably.

750Ti for upgradability, 660Ti at least for pure power.

Wait what? How does 750ti have more upgradability? It can't be SLI'd... 660 ti has more upgradeability and pure power... But is also in a different price bracket altogether.  Around $100 more.

Sorry, I meant it was newer and more efficient, not upgradability. And the 660Ti and 750Ti are around the same price.

please, PLEASE get windows 7/8.1

Why does my OS have to be involved?  I am happy with Vista (I do have a retail copy of Win7 Ultimate) however I choose not to use it.  My machine which I specifically built for Vista, Win7 hadn't been released when I built it.  My machine is more than capable of running Vista.  I am after GPU advice not OS.

As for the other posters thank you for your honesty, I will now do my homework on the 750TI and the 660.

However, you may only see the 660. The 660Ti is sold out in every store, for some reason.

Dont buy that silent piece of crap....it will take u no where even in the lower resolutions like 1366x768...get a 7770 or a if u are tight on budget get 6770, 7750 or a 6670 1gb ddr5...or if u have a good budget, definitely go for 750Ti...

Okay being doing some homework.  I live in Australia, and now on that daggy little island that hangs off the bottom off the big island, which in essence means no/limted (one to be precise) retail store.

From the reading I have been doing the 660 performs better than the 750TI, as I said I am not high end gamer Warcraft 3 TFT is the only game I play, lol said isn't it considering I am 49.  From pccasegear.com the 750TI is selling for $179, the EVGA 750TI FTW $229, the 660 for $229, not factoring in freight.

I don't need SLI, so that isn't a factor.  While I am inclined towards the 660, I do like EVGA, which brings me back to $229 plus freight. Ugg decisions decisions.

Ok dumb question but why not the FTW? I know it stands For The Win utter bs if you ask me.

But price wise the FTW and the non FTW are the same :o

If they're the same then get the FTW lol

FTW cards will have better binning and cooling.

If I am not mistaken the GeForce 630 is on par more or less, than the Intel integrated graphic HD4000.

I remember reading how pretty much it is abysmal. And I remember discussion on what was the point of the card.

The 630 is a rebrand 440... so it's an old Fermi GPU. Not Kepler.

Unless you are desperate for any GPU at the lowest price possible, the 630 is the worst purchase you can possibly do.

630 is not that great...but if someone intents to buy it...i would recommend Gt 630 1gb ddr5 over 2gb ddr3... :)

Okay was looking at the EVGA 750TI FTW, headed over to the EVGA forum, where there was a lot of negative feedback about the noise levels when this card is idle.

Still tossing up between the 750TI and 660, but instead of EVGA thinking of ASUS, which ever way I go I want dual fans, I have never OC anything, so my question is opinions on the ASUS GTX750TI-OC-2GD5
