Budget (£4000 approx for everything):

Country: UK

will be used for: games. Witcher 3 cyberpunk 2077. Heavy Minecraft mod packs & max shaders / resource packs. Watching movies.

Other details:

. Is my first pc build. Managed to buy everything but day before I was gonna buy the graphics card it went out of stock. I been saving up for this for about 11 years. Idk what I need rly. I done a lot of research but have 0 experience. I have had people who 'know what they talking about loot over this list but they say contradicting things. I bought it all as I said. Still in boxes but the graphics card which I still can't buy. Half a year after finally buying everything else. How badly have I f***ed up?

Your build is absolutely amazing, just wait for the graphics card and you have top-notch PC

You can still play games but only like minecraft, roblox and browser games

There is no point assembling cos my build requires a graphics card to run as far as I understand. My question is were they the right parts to get.

And is there a better GPU in the £1000 price range (when GPU prices go back to normal)

If it was my build, I would have gotten a cheaper mobo, cooler, case and a better cpu. The components seem good.

well you havent used any of the parts so your experience with what you've selected isn;t available. Nor do we know if any of the parts have issues or if they need any firmware updates to run smoothly.

Basically we don't know if You like or enjoy the parts you've bought as you haven't tried them.

gpu prices wont return to normal for a long time.

It's a bad idea to buy parts and have them sitting untested long after the return and warranty periods expire. You should be assembling the machine and putting a temporary gpu in it to make sure what you have functions

I'd say no. You spent way to much on a motherboard, cooler and RAM. The case you chose has terrible airflow and will not work well with your other cooling solution (the D15)

Lastly, the PSU is way to overkill.

You could've built something like this.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 3.7 GHz 12-Core Processor  (£447.96 @ Infinite Computing)
CPU Cooler: Scythe FUMA 2 51.17 CFM CPU Cooler  (£64.98 @ Amazon UK)
Motherboard: MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard  (£139.93 @ AWD-IT)
Memory: OLOy WarHawk RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory  (£175.31 @ Newegg UK)
Storage: Western Digital Blue SN550 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive  (£50.99 @ Amazon UK)
Storage: Mushkin Pilot-E 2 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive  (£205.27 @ Amazon UK)
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 10 GB Founders Edition Video Card
Case: Fractal Design Meshify C ATX Mid Tower Case  (£79.98 @ Amazon UK)
Power Supply: Corsair RM (2019) 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply  (£87.96 @ Infinite Computing)
Total: £1252.38
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

He shouldnt need a bios update, because it is a X570. But we dont know if the parts are ok

Ok. Yeah one person told me that the stock cooler was good enough but I did buy a big case so I could fit any future build a I to it so I figured I would need a better cooler. Idk, would it not save me money in the future not having to buy a bigger case or a better cooler for a future build? And what GPU and motherboard  would u have got?

I know I got a massive case but that's intentional so I can fit any future build into it

You will surely get the performance that's worth that money

But if your budget is about £4000 pounds then you could get a lot much more

a simple gt 1030 or gt 710-720 will be plenty to output a signal. I'd get a new one as it can also be returned or exchanged if it has an issue

I don't know. Will look into it. I bought them a while ago but they all unopened. The motherboard I was rly unsure with. The power supply I just wanted I could run anything and won't my monitor run of that as well? That will take a lot of power? So the fan is bad? I thought it was like the best 1 u can buy. I was awear the case had a bit of airflow issues but if I'm doing anything super intensive I just open the door? RAM again I have no clue over just want something that will last year's and be able to keep running new games in a few years time.
