Awesome, thank you! I'll definitely switch out the cooler and PSU.

 

I have built my pc and a friends before (his with a 2.5" SSD 1TB and mine with an M.2 256gb and 2.5" SSD 1TB), so this might be kind of a "dumb" question. But is it worth it to have a separate boot drive and other SSD for game/application storage? That's the only reason I had an M.2 and 2.5" SSD in my list.

If you don't need the 256 GB drive, it is not really required, as it might just cause extra hassle installing programs on different drives. They will likely be very similar for day to day operations, but for large sequential transfers the 256gb drive would be faster. I would just put the 256GB drive in and leave it unformatted in case you want to use it as a game drive or you run low on storage.

If you have a decent enough boot drive then no. The better config would be a 1TB SSD for games and windows, and a 2TB HDD for mass storage
