Affordable SSD for my moms pc

Donut417

My mom has a Lenovo Ideacentre 510A-15ARR, it comes with a Ryzen 3 2200G, 8 Gigs of ram and a 1 TB HDD. She complains its getting slower. I wanted to upgrade it with an SSD. She doesn't run much or have a lot installed. Ideally Id like to get a 1 TB SSD, however I would settle for a 500 Gigs SSD. Budget is around $100.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Another option since the IdeaCentre has a NVMe M.2 slot, you can also get a SN550 or MP33. Although I think the SN550 raised in prices.

I looked in to this. There is some kind of proprietary mounting system. The machine doesnt come with it if I remember right.
