Is this normal idle Temp for i7 9700k

Go to solution Solved by Kilrah,

Seems it can be related to thumbnail generation, might run a while if you have folders with lots of media, or there's a corrupted media file somewhere that causes it to hang when trying to make the thumbnail...

Hello guys, after formatting my pc and installing a new windows. i noticed while gaming my cup temp gets 65c to some times 71c which is not normal before the format. cos I used to get 55c to 59 as a maximum. add to that, i have a AIO cooling for my core i7 9700k from Cooler Master. and i noticed a lot of weird numbers for throttling and idle temps numbers. i hope someone would tell me what happened now? am i going to loos it soon.... thank you.

note, there is nothing working in the background and nothing running at all at the time those pics has been taken.

You have 45% CPU usage, so not idle and you DO have things running.
