They make really good monitors, but the build quality is sometimes kinda meh so that is why they are cheaper.

Ive had an AOC display for the last 4 years. I got it for half price because it was the display/test unit in a best buy, and even so its worked perfectly. Not one single issue. Would definitely buy again.

AOC has good displays, especially IPS. Just don't drop them or put too much weight on them (in case you would ever like me :P) but also look at response time if you're going to be gaming.

AOC has come a long way. They used to be crap in the sense they were the Acer levels in terms of product quality, and image output, but they have seam to continue to work year after year to improve themselves, now provide a solid product worthy considering. As you can see, here, people are satisfied. Is it like Dell Ultrasharp? Hmm no. But it solid none the less. It should not break on you after a few years. Great value monitor brand, based on what I am reading. Warranty is basic, and all that, but again the price is lower than the fancier brands, if you will.

However, they do continue to manufacture low end products, so it depends on what you get exactly.

Just one question...is the AOC i2369VM any good? I've read good things about the AOC IPS monitors so I'm curious about the quality of this one as it looks nice and is kind of cheap.

Pretty decent we sell them at work :)

I just got an AOC Q2700PQU, 27" PLS 1440p display, its absolutely fantastic

they make very good displays these days, decent build quality too
