If your 8 pin is 4+4 then yes, BUT!, Be careful since the pinout of those motherboard may not be the same as normal motherboard would be, the only way for sure to check it is to use multi meter

 

And why? Did the original psu broke?

yeah, and i bought a new psu and also an adapter, but it seems the pc doesn t turn on and starts beeping
