Sync Manager and Antimalware Service Executable - virus??

So I have been having abnormally high RAM usage. I have noticed  the thing taking up the most RAM is sync manager (literally 7,000MB sometimes) as well as Antimalware Service Executable. Are these from windows or do I have a virus?

Antimalware service executable is a windows service, uses about 110Mb on my system. Sync manager doesn't show up for me, try turning off syncing in windows settings (only useful if you have several machines used from different locations, making use of OneDrive, for example), otherwise it might be from a 3rd party app (RGB, wireless mouse/ keyboard service, something like that) try temporarily disabling all 3rd party apps from start up, accessible from task manager, start up tab.

It is possible with that much memory use it could be a memory leak in the service, is Windows/ apps up to date, are you using a custom Windows version?

Okay thanks!

Yes windows is up to date and I am not using a custom windows.

I do have RGB software on my computer. I will try turning off syncing in windows.

UPDATE: nevermind, i found out what sync manager is. It's just from a software installed on my computer.

Ok, well does it seem to you that the amount of RAM it uses makes sense? If not maybe it has a memory leak and an updated version could fix it.
