Budget (including currency): As low as possible, still having great parts. (£)

Country: UK

Other details: I've been thinking of upgrading some parts of my pc for a while now, wanting to buy a new case (specifically in white) and other suggestions.
My current specs are as follows:

MBD: Asus PRIME A320M-K

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: Zotac GTX 1080 AMP
Storage: Western Digital 1 TB Internal Hard Drive which came with the prebuilt pc.
Kingston A400 256GB SSD
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR4 16GB 2400mHz with a Corsair Vengeance DDR4 4GB 2400mHz (yeah i think i messed up with that one.)
PSU: EVGA 500W

The only fans in the PC are the CPU Cooler and the one input and one output fan included with the prebuilt pc. While gaming the GPU reaches about 80 degrees (which I think is high,) hence why I want to upgrade my case for better thermals, as well as perhaps my fans. I'd also like to upgrade the SSD or add another in order to be able to download new games.

Any suggestions are helpful.

Upgrade that board to a b450 tomahawk max or similar

Upgrade the case to a p300a or any mesh case

Get an sn550 for the ssd, cheap and pretty good option

And any recommended fan upgrades - for that case in particular?

Arctic f12 or p12

though i suggest you wait for someone else to give their input as having only 1 input on your upgrade is not reliable esp with a moron like me xD

Very vague honestly. Ill assume this means you still want "good value" instead of "barely works".

If you think of CPU upgrades, get a B550 motherboard. A320 is pretty damn barren and you are pretty much locked to the 3600. Something like MSI B550-A Pro is a good pick, or Asus B550 Plus TUF. And from there you can go to its direct generational improvement, 5600x.

If you want it to be low cost though, switching to intel with their 10400F (11400F and their igpu counterparts are a good substitute, these 4 CPUs trade in prices hard and they perform pretty much the same) with a good B560 board  can provide you with some improvement in CPU performance albeit not significant.

GPU is still decent, but thats where you can gain most performance. When you can, a swap to something like a 3070 or 3080 is arguably a big bump in raw performance. But with chokingly huge price tag of 500 and 700$ respectively at MSRP, its not for everyone. Alternative to this would be 6800XT.

For storage, boot drives are a good idea. You can format the old SSD and use it to cache the HDD. And then, something like PNY CS2130 or WD SN550 is a good jump from the A400 for the boot drive. But if youre here for raw storage, an extra 1TB HDD of the same model is a good idea, chuck em in RAID 0.

RAM is fine, but PSU is a hard no for me. Something like Corsair CX750 (or any very reliable 750W PSU) is a good pick.

For case, 4000D or 275R, simple. Both comes with a very good airflow and pretty workable as far as modern case nowaday goes. Both cases have integrated fans that are decent to boot too.
