WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR while gaming
Go to solution
Solved by Bombastinator,
I’ve always thought of the acronym WHEA as actually being an amonopia for the noise one makes when they happen. A sort of piggy squealing in pain noise. One of the irritations of those is it’s sort of the “derp I dunno” error.
Only thing I know to do is go through the standard troubleshooting dance. Step one with that is remove all overclocks of any kind if there are any. A few runs of memtest also may not hurt if it can be done just because a machine has to be on and running before it can do that. Another would be try removing all regular drives and booting from a thumb drive, just to see if it’s a storage issue of some sort.
