Cpu upgrade

I upgraded from a Ryzen 5 3600 to a Ryzen 7 3700x, but my fps got worse. I factory reset my PC, and updated everything but nothing worked. Any thoughts to why this is?

Going from a 3600 to a 3700x would barley make a difference in gaming.

Is XMP enabled?

Overclock your cpu and see if it becomes faster

Please provide full system specs so other people can help easier.

 

 

How much worse is your fps?

And in which games is the performance lower?
