Imagine having 20 bucks to spend on a mouse and making RGB a critical requirement.

OP, basically none of the well-known gaming peripheral brands make any nice this cheap. You are going to be down to the no-name stuff sold on Amazon which nobody reputable pays any attention or or bothers to review. You could start with the LTT video above and see if any of the mice covered in it are still sold and what they would cost for you. Beyond that you're just taking a shot in the dark.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Equally absurd. You have almost no budget and you're worried about an aesthetic thing that's going to be mostly covered up by your hand anyway.

  • 1 month later...

I don't mean to be rough with them, but I go through a crazy amount of mice, since there's no way to use my 9-pin serial Dexxa Mouse in this day and age.

I quite liked the Deathadder Essentials I bought around Xmas, but it died a few months back. Now I'm using a Redragon M711 Cobra, which performs very well, but defaults to really distracting blinkenlights. Amazon's got the M711, with coupon, for like $16 now.
