Rad upgrade - worth it?

I currently have a Evolv shift X with a i5-9600K and 1070ti

At the moment i have a single EK 280 SE

My temps aren't terrible, probably around 35 idle and 70 under load

I was considering replacing the single 280 SE, with a 240 SE + 140 SE (best I can do in this case I think)

Would it make much of a difference?

EDIT: D5 pump

Im not an expert of watercooling but 70C under load is great, dont really see a reason for a upgrade

going from 280 to 240 + 140 you're not gaining much rad space.  You probably won't see much change.

More fans means more noise. Also i could imagine that you'd have lesser area on the rads actually cooled since u then got more fan hubs and a 120mm to q40mm difference is actually significant woth a  280 having theoretically more area than a 360. Not worth it

Ping me or quote me in replys ples. Anyone talking about AiOs and trashing people for a front mount watch THIS JAYZTWOCENTS VID because u 99.9% skipped or didnt understand the Gamers Nexus vid...

240*120 = 28800mm²

140*140 = 19600mm²

280*140 = 39200mm²

40mm diametre fan hub = 20mm² * π = 1256mm²

280mm rad with 2 fanhubs, active cooled area: 39200mm² - 2512mm² = 36688mm²

140mm + 240mm rads, 3 fanhubs, active cooled area: 44632mm²

that's ~22% surface increase.
