Alright so recently I bought an Asus m5a99fx pro R2.0 motherboard and it ate ass. Came broken.

I honestly have a hatred towards asus now because I've bought like 4 products from them and each one had a problem.

Can anyone recommend me a motherboard that will work with this setup flawlessly (no asus.)

2x 4 gb 1600 adata xpg

2 x 4gb 1600 corsair vengeance

amd fx 8320 @stock

PNY xlr8 gtx 770

All suggestions are appreciated.

Money isn't an issue.

1 thing though.

I don't have particularly long 2x4 pin ATX power so I'd like the power connector for it to be at the top of the board.

Just rma your board. Things can arrive broken and it has more to do with shipping than Asus.

I understand this but I always seem to have bad luck with Asus. + there isn't a lot of ram on that motherboards spec sheet.

You can use like any motherboard with your specs lol.. why do you need help? Just use pcpartpicker

I want to hear other peoples suggestions and reviews. First hand experience with particular boards.

Ah I can respect that, I love hearing first hand experience rather than someone spitting out specs on something they have never touched. Goodluck finding a motherboard :)

Spec sheets are often not updated. Brand of ram doesn't really matter anyway and you should be fine with just about any ddr3 ram.

Yeah on that board though it wouldn't stop erroring with the vengeance I have in. (i know it's working too because it worked flawlessly in my old msi 970a-g46)

Looking at this.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157358

But I'm not sure that it supports FX processors.

Then why wouldn't newegg list it in the process support description ;)

Lists and specifications don't always get updated. Look at the motherboard manufacturer page.
