Can I use an old tablet as a display?

I have an old tablet who's cpu, ram, & age have made it useless for anything more than reading books, can I hook it up as a screen for my PC? How would I go about doing this?

PS. It's an Android tablet

Not generally, unless it has a video (HDMI) "In" port.
