OBS setting to record VHS

hi do you know whether i should use lossless quality. 

i dont mind the file size, 

 

but will it affect the vhs recording if i dont use 'same as stream'

The "same as stream" setting means the recording will use the settings you set for live streaming. The other options are also pretty self explanatory. If you don't mind the file size, put it to lossless and see how big they get. If I were to record a bunch of tapes I would just run a couple of quick test runs on each setting and see how they compare and if I think they are worth the file size for their purpose.
