Network issue Modem to Router setup

Hello everyone,

 

I've been having this issue for a little while where from time to time all devices on the network are connected to it, but only YouTube is accessible. No other website works. I'm using the ASUS RT-AX88U AX6000 router. Which is connected to my ISP's gigabit modem. The modem itself is very limit in features and settings, but I disabled wifi on it so it wouldn't interfere with the router's wifi. It also happens to the computer that is directly connected to the modem.

DNS: Do you use googles dns or your isp's dns

I'm not using a VPN and I'm using my ISP's DNS, but I also tested using googles DNS and it had the same issue

This is usually a DNS problem . 

1. Routers updated? (firmware)

2. Rebooted the routers?

3. Reset the routers.

4 Last. Is the ISP router in router mode or Modem mode? (Modem mode is best when you have your own routers.)

depending on the setup ofcourse.. but using dhcp inside your local router would probaly give you the internal router adress as DNS.. like 192.168.x.1  have you tried using it? and then let router and modem auto distribute DNS setup.

Router is updated. I rebooted and reset to factory settings both the router and the modem multiple times.

The ISP modem is in bridge mode right now. I switched between normal and bridge mode multiple times.

How would I go about doing this?

are you using wifi or cable? 

run ipconfig /all in a command prompt and enter the output here for the nic receiving an IP4 address including adapter name.

When it occurs,It happens on all devices. WiFi and Ethernet. I'll send the log when I'm home
