Ryzen 5 2600x running 45c on idle and faster than base speed

Heyo peeps, I am new to PC gaming and I have built my own PC in the time that is the worst for it. Specs as follows

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600x
GPU: Zotac GTX 1650 Super Twin Fan
Motherboard: Gigabyte b450M DS3H
RAM: x2 Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB Stick
Storage: Wester Digital 1TB SSD
Case: Fractal ATX Mid Tower
Power supply: Corsair CX650w Bronze Series

I was concerned to see the idle temperatures for the 2600x for me at least to be 42 degrees and then spikes up to a high of 50 doing little to nothing. Under load (I played Star Wars: Battlefront II EA) on Ultra settings and the highest it hit was 73 degrees and I want to know if that'll harm the CPU enough to later deem it unusable at those temps. I also noticed that the base speed for the 2600x is 3.6 GHz and it often times speeds up to 4.2 GHz and I cannot understand why and what it might be doing to the CPU to speed up faster than it's intended base speed.

Any questions and concerns you might see are VERY helpful at this time, I might be overthinking this but I don't know that!

Gaming Rig:

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x  | CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 BE  |  GPU: ZOTAC GeForce RTX 3060 Twin Edge OC  | RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB DDR4 3200mhz  |  Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H V2  |  Storage:  WD Blue SN550 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD  |  Case:  Corsair 4000D Airflow  |  Power Supply: Corsair CX650w Bronze Series

No, this is.normal.

Thus, dont fix it if it isnt broken, which it doesnt sound like it is.
