Building PC for my dad

Budget (including currency): $600-$800

Country: AUSTRALIA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: This PC will not be used for gaming only to run some basic programs.

Other details This computer will only need 8 gb of ram and preferably intel I5. 1 TB of hard drive space and 250 gb SSD.

If anyone could help with a budget PC of only $600-$800 not including monitor, mouse and key board that would be great.

Thankyou very much

This list is atrocious value.

Well look at it this way.
It didn't matter if I choose Intel or AMD for the partlist due to the pricing.
Less ram costs more in australia for some reason
Don't ever cheap out on powersupply besides this way he could add a GPU if wanted/needed at a later date and won't be dealing with unnessary cables

Okay, but why are you getting an RMX? Just get a decent unit like the Antec NeoEcoGold, Corsair CX/CXM, TXM Gold, or anything that’s not garbage really. OP won’t be adding a GPU because this is going to be used as an office PC.
