You need an SSD, dude. Applications launch so much faster, your computer boots in a fraction of the time, games install faster.. you've probably heard the jist of it before.

The WD Blue series is my personal favorite for its value for money. Faster than the cheapest of cheap, but not as expensive as a Samsung SSD, most of which are markedly more pricey than any other equivalent SSD.

I recommend you buy the WD Blue SN550 500GB to accompany your hard drive. You can get the 1TB version if you think you'd use the extra space.

There is also a 2.5" SATA version available if you prefer that. The performance difference in the real world is miniscule.

Dude, $100 for a 500GB NVME is a complete joke. You could get something like this Kingston, which would save you 40% and barely leave any performance on the table.

You need 16GB (2x8GB) of RAM. 8GB is not enough for anything but the most bargain-basement entry-level systems and single channel RAM is a huge mistake.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.
