How to use AMD graphics card for gaming and Nvidia graphics card for output in a same PC?

Nevermind then. I was thinking you swap those for a single 4k monitor but that would be more expensive. Nvidia and AMD drivers should be able to run fine side by side. Just plug it in and hope all screens show up on Windows display settings! Not sure how to tell windows which to choose as primary gpu.

Ok I'll try. And will describe the outcome.

I recently built a PC with ryzen 5 3600, msi x470 gaming plus max and rx 580 8gb. I wanted to use fouth monitor but my graphics card has only 3 ports. Then I thought why shouldn`t use my old prefectly working gtx 480 for just output. I am asking how to setup the two cards, because there isn`t much information about this. I also have a stuttering problem with my rx 580. When I open a video or something moving on the other monitor the game starts stuttering. And whenever my wallpaper changes the game stutters for a second. I wonder if this problems will be fixed if I use the gtx 480 for the other monitors.

Are some monitors above 60hz or are they worth more than 800$ on the used market?

My main monitor is 27 inch 1080p 144hz. Second monitor 1080p 24inch 60hz. TV 1080p for watching movies or series and presentations but it`s not very useful for a monitor, because is above my head. That`s why I want to put my fourth monitor which is 1080p 60hz 24inch.
