AIO needs to work?

frozensun

My dear friends,

Due to sickness,I don't turn on both of my PCs.

On one of them is the AIO H100i Platinum.

I suppose it's not good for pump not to work since plague will form in the coolant and I suppose corosion.

Here it's summer and in my room is 29 C which is a lot and due to high temperature I'm not planing to turn on this PC for a while.

So I want to ask you, would that cause any issues for the pump and coolant if the PC doesn't work for a while, month or two?

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

It can sit still for years and be fine. The liquid has anti bacterial and anti corrosive stuff in it to prevent these issues.

U sure?

I was inform that it's better for pump to work, due to corrosion or plague in the AIO/coolant.

So perfectly safe for AIO not to work for like a month?

What do you mean with plague? Bacteria? A biofilm forming?

These coolers sit on shelves for months at a time often. It is totally fine to leave a system with an aio off for a long time.

I meant on substance that forms inside coolant when it's not circulating.

That is not water

That doesn't happen as I've stated before these liquids have anti corrosion and anti bacterial stuff added. Yes there were those enermax aio's with slime and that was because they did not add enough of the stuff and skipped adding some chemicals entirely.

The H100i can sit still for years and still be fine. Don't worry about it.
