Oh, thx for info, but who the hell are powerspec and how long have they been in the psu industry anyways?

Also Microcenter's House brand for PSUs.  Not a new name, tho.

Quality is up for debate on them, it seems.

Why did you do that to your PC?!

Never heard of inland nor powerspec but id suggest swapping the psu if possible, cause unknown brands alot of the time have garbage psus that either malfunction or blow up, but if its working just fine and has good reviews then you can keep it i guess

@Somerandomtechyboi @tkitch I got pretty much all my parts from micro center which is why I went with PowerSpec and Inland when I built my pc. I didn’t realize they weren’t very well known brands but both my SSDs and my PSU have been extremely reliable. I have only had them for a little over a year and a half, so we’ll see how they do over time, but the reviews I’ve seen have been mostly positive.

Up to debate?,It's 100% cheap - there is no doubt about it.

What?  Inland makes shockingly good SSDs

@SomerandomtechyboiInland is the Microcenter in-house brand.

Being DRAM-less and with that controller it's not good, they are just cheap.

That's another Microcenter in house crap.

Except you're wrong?  I've got a couple and they're stellar performers, and absolutely have DRAM cache.

@tkitch @Vishera I think he just doesn’t like micro center lmao, just because something is exclusive to one store doesn’t make it crap, I’ve have literally 0 problems with anything over time. Both the PSU and SSDs have hundreds of reviews that average at 5/5 but I guess they’re crap to you

  • 1 month later...

This by the way is the case I am downsizing out of to the NR200P.. 😛 It simply takes up too much space on the desk. Great if you need a test bench style case... not so great if you ever want desk space.

By the way.. if you have cats.. they will lay on the top of it.. gah..
