kurapikurta

for some reason my pc goes BSOD whenever its midnight 11PM - 4AM as it works perfectly fine during the morning and the stop codes in the BSOD constantly changes and i literally cant open my pc during those hours as it is in a constant loop of BSOD. I cant figure out the problem because of the stop codes changing everytime

Maybe a certain windows process triggers during those times that is corrupted?

Try running CMD as an administrator and running `sfc /scannow`

which will try to repair any corrupt windows system files.

when you are able to boot, check in tasks if there are anything that is triggering during those hours.

Do an in place upgrade, it'll fix Windows system files and you won't lose data or software you have installed. I just recently found you can do this no matter if you have Windows 10 already installed or not. It beats slamming your head against a wall trying to figure out why it's happening and just fixes the problem. Fixed my 4-6 BSOD per day issue.

The corrupt files were repaired, But im not so sure if the BSOD message would be gone I’ll quote this message again if another BSOD occurs, thank you.

Ok… the time thing sure is weird and i dont have a solution either, but i still recommend giving this a read… diagnosing and fixing BSODs really isnt easy as there are so many possibilities.

Also if u do sfc scannow, you should also do the dism command (its explained in the article)

specific times, sounds like Windows update. (could be totally wrong thow)

you could try to pause the updates for 7 days. is a feature build into windows.
and try if it still happens.

Ah, I figured it out! Mayhaps!

So what country are u in?

Because sometimes power stations will lower the "quality" of the electricity during night time… and thats exactly  what this sounds like, but i have no idea how common this is…  I do know they do it here, with no adverse effects. Basically this is probably normal, but the guys you get your electricity from dont do it right…

[just a theory, but yeah]

ps: i cant really find a good reference because  i dont really know what im looking for, but basically something like this:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Load_following_power_plant

There are also reports from people  getting too high voltage during night time, as well as people getting  too low voltage...

🤔
