Ah, Im sorry but this is more than slightly bugging me…!

Backstory: for some reason i had big issues with recording videos recently - it makes no sense really, no matter what… recordings where just choppy, laggy, and appeared to be missing frames (even though they'd always say "60fps")

So anyways last few days this issue totally disappeared, until now when it suddenly came back, for apparently no reason...

So Im checking event viewer, and I have no idea if thats the reason for my issues, but if I had to guess… probably…

I really dont like this feature , because it seems to hide the "shadow copies" somehow even if you turn it off, and since its introduction (in Vista iirc), it worked exactly zero times when I needed it…

But I really wonder whats going on, I had it set to "1.1GB"  is that not enough? And shouldn't it delete older "shadow copies" instead of throwing this error?

And also where is it?

"root of the Windows volume in the System Volume Information folder"

Isnt that just my C drive? No "system volume information" there… 🤔

*PS: i know the issues with recording could come from something else, but its a bit sus and really feels like a system/software issue, memory leak kind of thing as it affects Shadowplay and OBS alike, otherwise i would think its just a buggy application.

PSS: im also confused why it says "shadow copy" and not restore points, it appears to be different things, but then i only "restricted" the space for restore points, I obviously dont even know where "shadow copies" are…
