I have decided that i actually want a gpu for my pc, so the specs of my pc are in my signature. I have NO clue about GPU's so hopefully you guys can give me some feedback.

I think i am better off going with gddr5 (1gb) instead of ddr3 (2gb) because i only have 1 720p monitor and i am not upgrading it anytime soon, i will not be playing anything heavy, mainly racing games, the sims 3 and some minecraft. I have an amd apu (it can crossfire with hd 6450, 6570, 6670 but i don't think is worth getting one of those cards).

So i can get in my budget these cards:

Nvidia:

GT 630 or GT 640.

AMD:

R7 240, HD 6670, R7 250, HD 6770 or HD 7750.

I would have to stretch it to get either the R7 250x, HD 7770 or the GTX 650

Any good pages to check benchmarks?

Also i know about mantle but i don't know if it will be compatible with my setup same thing with true audio and having those features would be nice.

Main PC:

ASUS F1A55-M LX, AMD A6-3500, (2x2)gb Kingston HyperX Blu DDR3 1600mhz, Seagate Barracuda 500gb 7200rpm,
Corsair CX430M, Cooler Master Elite 343, Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit

Netbook:

Lenovo Ideapad S10-2, Intel Atom N280, (1x1)gb DDR2 667mhz, WD Scorpio Blue 250gb 5400rpm, Zorin OS 9 Lite

GTX 750?

I guess i would look into that one, what is comparable in the AMD side?

Save until you can get a 750 ti, the price to performance is stupid low on the low end stuff.

I know performance won't be the same but we are talking that the 750 ti where i live costs twice the money of a r7 250 and linus used that one for the apu kaveri build. And honestly i don't think is worth it if i am not going to use all it's potential, If i can play games at 720 with medium details i am fine.
