No ETA whatsoever

And even assuming they actually receive 5965 cards, your order won't be from that, since there's nearly 15k orders already placed and waiting, too. You will be waiting for months.

It's a pre-order for an item they don't actually have. So God knows when you'd receive it.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

It's by definition not a pre-order.

It's a buy queu, you get in line to buy it, a pre-order is only for a product that's not out.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

This is semantics. The point is, OP would be placing an order for an item the retailer doesn't actually have on hand, and then waiting an indefinite length of time for them to get enough stock.

So is it "legit" in the sense that the retailer won't just take the money and disappear? Yes. Is it going to get a card in OP's hands any time soon? Nah.
