Video streaming giant Netflix believes that making content available is the best way to beat online piracy, and the company has data to back this up

XYMan

Is this not almost the same as Gabe Newells view on piracy?

I'm just a soul who is up to no good.

The article makes sense because the main reason that people pirate things is that it is unavailable to them, they don't think it is worth the money or it is too expensive eg Adobes Creative Suite.

I was on Netflix for a few months and REALLY liked it, but the Canadian version is so limited and slow to add content. Im hoping that they can improve the service and make more content available to everyone faster, and put Piracy to rest. Price/month is also extremely acceptable, but i hope that we dont see all the studios horde their content and pull an EA! (Ya, i went there) I already have a Crunchyroll and Funimation subscription, and thats bad enough.
