I need some suggestions on a new sound card testing system. I used to have one ages ago but that system has long since been dead due to board failure.

What I need is an ATX system with at least 4 PCI slots and 3 pcie slots of any size. This would be used to test multiple sound cards across multiple operating systems.
So ideally I need something compatible with windows from XP clean through to Windows 10. The rest of the specs do not matter at all, it just needs to be able to run Winamp and whatever drivers and software any selected sound card comes with.

Im thinking late LGA 775, for a later core2duo and ddr3, for a reasonably cheap system that could manage XP, Vista, 7, 8.1 and 10 all at the same time.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated, because the used older part scene has changed quite a bit from the last few years and there may be new options in this market I’m not aware of.

For what I have right now, I’ve got any and all varieties of memory I could need, multiple sata SSDs, a GeForce 8400GS pcie, and a decent power supply to work with.
