gpu buying

i am a gamer obviously but what rlly ticks me off is that me getting a gpu for christmas relies on pure luck and pure luck alone bcz my parents are gonna try to get my entire family to help me get enough parts to build a pc with rysen 5000x cores rtx 3060 ti hopefully the gpu that gets in there and overall a lot better than my current pc with just an intel i5 to run games on which is very crappy and ltt i am going to post a picture of the inside of my pc and my specs if you respond with this that you will help me find a way to make sure i get a gpu for christmas jk i dont actually belive that you have to get me a gpu i just need some tips to help me get it since honestly were in the biggest gpu shortages ever and then you have youtubers like pc centric (another pc youtuber i get all the tips i can ) and i just saw what is a bookshelf WITH A WHOLE ROW OF MSI 3080S THAT IS RIDICULOUS

like do you guys have some sort of hidden website that you guys use to automatically buy the gpus like the crypto miners plz respond anybody who has an idea of how to help

Not really, nvidia probably only sends out like maybe 40-50 units out to reviewers. Even if we assume 100 GPUs have been sent, its really a drop in the ocean compared to the amount of GPUs that are being botted and scalped

The scalpers will find another way to sell their stuff. For them there is a lot of money on the line. They will find a solution.

now i will agree with that i will agree with that completely but it would take a little time for them to find another website in my opinion so it might open up a small chance for gamers to get the new cards

It doesn't change that they still have the cards. And if they can't sell them at all, then it's actually less stock available for gamers. Sorry but that's a bad solution.

 

But don't take me wrong. Scalping is bad and i wouldn't do it myself for moral reasons. Heck, i could take the 3080 out of my system and sell it for instant 1300€ profit. But i'd hate myself afterwards.

lucky my birthday is coming up in less than a month and i was supposed to have two rtx 3060s in there now its been pushed to christmas im still getting new stuff just its just sad how much scalping is going on rn

No, you won't. Firstly because the 3060 doesn't support SLI at all, Nvidia cards still need a physical bridge for SLI and the 3060 doesn't have the connectors for it. Second, because SLI has essentially been dead for years, neither Nvidia or game developers bother to code for it, so in most games you would be lucky to get any extra performance at all even if you had picked cards that were SLI-capable.

Shut down a company for less than 1% of their sales activity?  Because a few "Gamers" want it?  Cuz they cant have their GPU's they're paying out the ass for even at MSRP?

No, you said Ebay should SHUT DOWN temporarily.  Gamers would agree?  Not this one.

 

Everything is messed up right now.  Have you seen the price of Lumber?  How about house prices?  I have a friend that offered $100,000 ABOVE asking IN CASH ( wire transfer of course), and was OUTBID for a condo here in Atlanta.

 

Or a coworker that paid $75k for an Escalade last year was offered $85k from a dealer who had a buyer wanting one.  

 

Put that in perspective about a lowly $2000 GPU.  No one owes you anything, no company needs to adjust their policies or shut down.

lol stop  being salty im just saying that would be nice besides i have gotten that im not telling ebay you better do that i am just saying it would be rlly good if ebay put in some policy that greatly decreased scalpers
