Better GPU would probably help,

but you'll still see fine FPS on high settings at 1080p.

Compatibility and is it good for 1080p gaming 

save your money by getting 1600mhz ram and get a better gpu like a gtx 760. that would be a muuuuuch better way to spend.

You kind of need to give us more information here...

 

Get something a little beefier graphics wise for 1080p gaming.
