issues with gtx 295

Hey guys! I recently got my hands on a gtx 295 that has some issues. When running in multi-gpu mode, full screen games show green boxes all over the place. But when i disable it, the green boxes don't come up. have any of you had this problem before? what did you do to fix it? I have a c2d e7200, 4 gigs of ram, a gigabyte board (dont remember which one), and a 750w psu.

why did you buy a 295?

why did you buy a 295?

Probably got it off a mate, and for cheap too. And its still an OK card. Its about equivalent to a 7770 or a 650, which is more than enough for basic gaming. Provided the game supports DX10 of course, and SLI.

i pulled it from my bff. she does more content creation stuff and already had a quatro so she didnt really need it

 

edit: alright so i tried lowering the core clock then ran furmark and i still get the same issue. any other ideas?
