Threadripper Workstation, any comments to this setup?

I'm building a workstation for my research job. Don't have a fixed budget but currently trying to stay around 4000€ without a GPU. My work almost exclusively uses CPU and I still have a 1050 Ti I can carry over from my last one.

 

I don't plan on doing any overclocking or anything. Should just be a solid, stable, not too loud work horse. Parts are partly selected based on availability and what stores I can actually buy from so our billing department doesn't yell at me.

 

If you see and obvious flaws/have good recommendations, I would love to hear them!

Case will be whatever I can get here. Wanted to go for the P6000s but it's not sold in this country.

Preferably dont mix memory kits. This is an additional reason for the XMP profile to not work and you cant RMA the memory.kits because they dont work together, even if 3200MHZ is low enough that it should be fine

Is 128gb of ram fine for you, and do you think you won't need more than 256gb of ram in the near future? If you answer yes to both, then this build LGTM.
