Hey lads,

Currently using an Antec 902 and starting to get tired of it.  Thinking of  upgrading to something more simplistic looking and quiet.  Both the white Define R4 (with window) and the P280 have caught my eye.  Just thought I would ask for others opinions to aid in my choice.  The hardware I have in my current system will go into both cases without any problems and the only upgrade I may do down the track is a H100 and again, both of these two cases will handle that without problems.

Cheeeers!

They're pretty similar.  The P280 has less cable management space in the back but that only matters if you have a lot of hardware.  The PSU filter coming out the side is nice, it's difficult to access the filter from the back of the R4.  The SSD mounts in the P280 are not easy to hook up since 2.5" drives are so much shorter than normal hard drives, the cables for them are really inset into the drive cage on the back side.  The P280 only fits 120mm fans and it doesn't have a ton of space above the motherboard so AIO water cooler options will be pretty limited, and the drive cages aren't removable.  These are all just sort of extras though, and will only make a difference in certain scenarios, not in the majority of rigs.  Overall they're both solid choices, and I like them both (I have the P280 and the R3).  I'd just get whichever one is more your style.

I've a Define R4 and love it, really easy to build in, even for a first time builder. I've pretty good cable management I think too.

There's pictures in my build log in my signature if you want to see.

I'm buying the R4 soon, my reasons being the 1" of cable management, which I think will be very useful, but also the window's perfect placement. You don't see what you don't want to see,  and I'm doing SLI and LED fans, so... ya' know.
