Lately, I have observed that raspberry pi cluster videos are all rage combined with the power of Ansible people are going all mad! 

 

Everyone likes to do electronics builds, what is even better is its more fun when its not like every other build, its not really a server because its cheaper and far less power hungry. It lets you do all the same things though while it sips power like a honey bee on a marigold flower. Not just that, you can set up all your services like a webserver, next cloud, plex etc. in a space less than a pet house and won't have problem sitting there all day, silently.

 

I have entertained the idea of building my own but I have just one RPI3b+ at the moment and its enough for my childish needs of serving a mqtt server, node-red, blynk and pihole containers on its own docker, which is always up without keeping my credit card information of course!

Keep in mind that depending on how many you use, you might need quite a beastly 5 V power supply (or multiple supplies).

there are other options like going PoE, reduces the cabling for them
