Unable to Join Domain Controller

Hi Everyone,

 

I have spent countless hours searching this online

DNS was successfully queried for the service location (SRV) resource record used to locate a domain controller for domain "HOME.local":

The query was for the SRV record for _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.HOME.local

The following domain controllers were identified by the query:
WIN-K6JVOK966CQ.HOME.local

However no domain controllers could be contacted.

Common causes of this error include:

- Host (A) or (AAAA) records that map the names of the domain controllers to their IP addresses are missing or contain incorrect addresses.

- Domain controllers registered in DNS are not connected to the network or are not running.
 

 

I'm currently out of ideas.

 

Please help me. 

 

My Net Config 

 

DC IP 192.168.1.139

NetMask 255.255.255.0

Gateway 192.168.1.1

 

DNS 192.168.1.139

Client Config - Added Host reccord and Dns Record to be pointing to DC IP

For Ex 

Client IP Config 

 

ip 192.168.1.125

netmask 255.255.255.0

gateway 192.168.1.1

 

DNS 192.168.1.139

 

----

 

I have added the Allowsinglelabledomainjoin registry key ("Single-Label Domain DNS Resolution")

 

I have set sysvolready from 0 to 1

 

Firewalls are not blocking ports

 

This is a fresh install of server 2019

 

I have not tocuhed any dns record in the DNS Manager in Windows Server

For starters, I would not use .local domain, multicast DNS is not always very reliable.
