Can I ask what year is this, and how much are these worth?

 

Someone is interested in trading for something I have, but not sure if this be a good deal.

It's just an 11 inch that released in 2020, thats it. 2nd generation for the 11.

It has a pretty beefy case on it in this pic so no way really to tell. I would need to see the cameras. The 11" Pro gen 1 had 1 rear camera, Gen 2 had 2. Make sure it's not iCloud locked, if you are buying/trading.

Yeah I know about the cameras I just can' tell either if it has 1 or 2?

The camera cutout on the case is too small to support the 2-camera setup of the 2nd generation iPad Pro. It's likely a 1st generation.

its the first gen with a single camera, so did he make a mistake when he said it was 2nd gen?.

You should be asking the owner these questions. At this point you’re trying to guess what he/she is thinking when you can ask them directly.

 

You can inform them that they likely made a mistake given that the model number is that of a 1st generation device. But used versions of this iPad at 1TB usually go for around $900-$950 anyway, so that won’t likely change anything.

 

If I were shopping for an iPad with that budget, I’d sacrifice some of the storage for a newer generation. Not saying that the iPad Pro 1st generation is bad, but I don’t need all of that local storage.
