Secondhand Build Purchase

Go to solution Solved by OfficialTechSpace,

Idk who that guy's trying to fool, but even brand-new you'd be lucky to pay $1,400 for this. It's not worth that much.

It's a ripoff.

Budget (including currency): ~$1500

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Cypberpunk, ESO, CS:GO

Other details: I am trying to get a gaming PC without waiting a month for a custom build. I purchased prebuilt Starter Pro from NZXT only to find out they are a 3-4 week delay just like their custom builds. I found this on FB Marketplace and want to know if this is a good price for a NZXT Build and worth the purchase. Description:

Selling for $1600

Great condition custom built PC. I built this 10 months ago for gaming - I’ve used it without issues since then, but since I’ll be travelling a lot I’m replacing it with a laptop. Latest AMD drivers will be installed. Graphics card alone is selling used for over $1200, and current retail for all the parts (new) is about $2700. GPU has never been used for mining, never been overclocked. Note: front panel audio + USB are not working, but no issues on the back panel audio + USB ports.

Its a decent pc but idk if it is worth 1600 dollars. Granted prices are pretty screwed up right now but if it was normal times I would definitely not pay that much personally. I mean the gpu is worth like 300 bucks the cpu probably 200 bucks the motherboard 100 bucks the ram like 80 bucks the case like 80 bucks and psu like 100 bucks.

Update, he says it’s a XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB THICC III Ultra Video Card. Seems like that cars is running over $1000.

Still not worth it?

In the current market it's going for $1000. But, note that before the market exploded it was going for 350ish

You can probably find prebuilts with 3060tis for the same price.

Case is bad, PSU is.."okay". And the RAM is really slow.

geometry is hard
b550 > x570
