So I just upgraded from a 1060 to a 6700 xt yesterday. LShould I be getting excited about FSR ?

 I hope   hope it would help with Ray tracing framerates in cyberpunk. Because I'm guessing that's probably the only real life example of where I find thos card lacking.  Are equivalently powered geforce cards ok with rayr racing... or is the 67oo xt just too weak ?

I think it depends on the resolution but supposedly its to help lower end hardware render something like a ray traced scene look as if it were in HD. Though without seeing it in action its hard to know what it does on which hardware

If you play 1440p or higher you will definitly notice the difference, for 1080p there will probably still be a difference, but not as big. Also, we don't know if Cyberpunk will support it, but I'd say it's safe to assume it will.

Something worth bearing in mind is that FSR is still first-gen tech for AMD. DLSS looked terrible in its first generation, so I'd calibrate expectations accordingly. That's not to say it won't help - it probably will help a great deal, especially for resolutions >=1440p, but it may or may not look amazing right out the gate.
