Suggest: XFX 570 with Bad BIOS

Friends,

 

I got a 2nd-hand XFX 570 4GB which has a Dual-BIOS switch.
I noticed that one of its BIOS gives corrupted display. Other one is 100% OK.

So, I wanted to overwrite it with a good BIOS.

But I am confused -

1. BIOS 1: download from techpowerup
2. BIOS 2: good BIOS extracted using GPU-Z
3. BIOS 3: good BIOS extracted using amdvbflash_win_3.15

 

All these three BIOSs are of different MD5!

Which one will be the best/safe?

In that case, either BIOS 2 or BIOS 3.
But why they are of different MD5!

Would be interesting to look at the actual files and compare contents with e.g. HxD. Could be that one software only extracts the "used" portion of the flash chip and the other reads the entire chip.

Then that sounds just like it, if the size is different of course the md5 will be. But I was referring to looking at the actual contents of the files...

 

Also the BIOS downloaded from techpowerup might be the "quiet" BIOS while you read the "performance" one or vice versa. The whole point of the dual BIOS switch is to have 2 different ones.

How are you extracting the bios? are you specifying which bios to export? because when I had my 7850 that had a dual bios, when first bios was corrupted, I would boot with second bios then switch to first bios and specificy which bios to read and write to in the command prompt.
