hey I found out a new build for a custom m1 imac using a mac mini.

First by putting the m1 chip from the mac mini from the mac mini like a video which luke miani made.

After that I would use an intel mac mini and plug it to the imac using thunderbolt 3 so I can use it an external display for my intel mac mini.

After that I would install windows 10(bootcamp) on my main macos drive so Ii will only have windows and no macos.

Atlast  would use a egpu(razer corex) and an rtx 2080ti to play games.

So I can easily switch between m1 and intek.

To swith to intel I would just connect the intel mac mini to the imac and use it as an external display and switch to m1 by just

disconnecting the intel mac mini because the chip is inside it.

So you think it is a good idea?

No, I don't think it's a good idea.

You could achieve the same with way less messing around by just... plugging the mac and the Windows machine into one screen and switching between the computers.

oh yeah but this is way more cool and something to spend money for no reason
