AM4 Carrizo Motherboards

Does anyone have a Carrizo AM4 CPU working on a retail motherboard? If so, what motherboard & BIOS version works for you?

 

I have an AMD A6 Pro 8570, but it doesn't POST in my X470 based motherboard (not a big surprise, but it doesn't do anything... acts like it's unplugged).

I was planning on buying a A320 based motherboard that supports Bristol Ridge to try it, but would rather not spend the money if someone else knows it won't work on those either.

Main: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti, 16 GB 4400 MHz DDR4 Fedora 38 x86_64

Secondary: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, 16 GB 2667 MHz DDR4, Fedora 38 x86_64

Server: AMD Athlon PRO 3125GE, 32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 ECC, TrueNAS Core 13.0-U5.1

Home Laptop: Intel Core i5-L16G7, 8 GB 4267 MHz LPDDR4x, Windows 11 Home 22H2 x86_64

Work Laptop: Intel Core i7-10510U, NVIDIA Quadro P520, 8 GB 2667 MHz DDR4, Windows 10 Pro 22H2 x86_64

Maybe you have to revert to pre-Zen 2 BIOS? They had to cut CPU support ij order to support new CPUs.

From what I understand alot of 400 series boards dropped support for those cpu in favor of supporting newer 3000 series cpus as there wasn't enough memory on the bios to support 3000 series cpu and the old apus

My board is an MSI Max series (earliest revision supports Zen 2), so I'll need a different board regardless. I do agree though, that I need an older BIOS.
