Random freezes when playing games

Specs:

And r5 2600x

Gigabyte aorus x470 ultra gaming

16gb corsair vengeance 3600 ddr4 memory

Asus gtx 1060 6gb

Seasonic 650w play PSU

500gb Samsung SSD

Seagate Barracuda 1tb

Issue: most games freeze my pc either on launch or after a while and I have to restart.

All drivers are up to date and I downloaded aida64 extreme and ran that individually for each thing. Only fpu causes a crash but I don't know what to do with that information. I've been trying to solve this for weeks and I'm getting nowhere I would really appreciate some help.
